Drew Parker Releases New Single, “Love The Leaving’”

Last week, Warner Music Nashville artist Drew Parker gifted fans with his second new single of 2024. “Love The Leavin’,” co-written by Parker, Lindsay Rimes, and Matt Rogers, follows the singer’s country-rock banger “The Truck,” which dropped in April.

Similar to “The Truck,” “Love The Leavin’” shows Parker’s more emotional side, and it’s undeniably one of his strongest, catchiest releases in recent history. Following a smooth, sultry country groove, Parker croons passionate lyrics, asking his baby to stay home with him. The clever hook has him claiming he will “love the leavin’ off your mind.”

The song builds and builds toward a soaring final chorus and one of Parker’s most powerful vocal performances. With his gruff but stunning baritone, the Grammy-nominated singer is already recognized as one of the strongest singers in the country genre, and “Love The Leavin’” is sure to build on this reputation.

This year, Parker will be joining Luke Combs on his “Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old Tour” while also headlining a run of his own. Keep posted on his music and shows by following him here — and be sure to check out “Love The Leavin’” below.
